We live in a world blessed with sights and beautiful places beyond words. All of us want to visit these places at least once in our lifetime. Living in modern cities with high-rise buildings, we tend to miss out on what mother nature has to offer. So pack your bags and get ready to travel. Mentioned below are few of our suggestions for such places:
Blue Caves, Zakynthos, Greece: They are also known as the blue caves “of Volimes”. This area is quite wilder, rural, and less transited than the others. In fact, they are only accessible by the sea. But this cannot change the fact that it is still one of the main attractions of the Greek Island. The blue caves stand out as they reflect the vibrating and striking blue color of the water in them, which at the same time capture and reflect the shine of the sky reflected on their surface. This creates an almost magical atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset.
Ice skating on Paterswoldse Meer: It is a lake to the South of the city of Groningen in the Netherlands. The Paterswoldse Meer Lake is one of those places where you could skate in a natural setting, under a breathtaking environment. You need to carefully plan your visit to the Paterwoldsemeer Lake because the ice is not there for the entire year. So you should visit this place only when the ice is hard enough to support you. Even when the Lake is not frozen, there are still lots of great activities in store at Paterswoldse like swimming and sailing.
Multnomah Falls, Oregon: Multnomah Falls is ‘the place’ to stop at in the Columbia River George which is in Oregon. Visiting Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy-water, lets you experience the power and beauty of nature. You should try to get here early in the morning to avoid the rush. You can visit the Multnomah Falls at any time of the year as it never dries up.
Crystalline Turquoise Lake, Jiuzhaigou National Park, China: It is also known as the Five Flower Lake of China. The beautiful colors of the lake make it one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world. The colors of the lake include turquoise, yellow, green, and blue. The lake also includes trunks of ancient fallen trees in criss-crossed manner which adds to its beauty. All of this makes the lake look like one of the most gorgeous sites of nature.
The Gardens at Marqueyssac: Comfortably nestles into the hills of Perigord are the Gardens of Marqueyssac. The gardens were planted in 1861 by Julien De Cerval. Boxwoods were chosen as a key plant of the garden. De Carvel along with the care takers, wanted to create a romantic experience for the garden’s visitors where they would get lost within the paths and enjoy the organic shapes of the plants. It is a perfect romantic place to visit.
