Every other day there are research reports on new factors that influence longevity. Some scientists believe that sleeping with a partner may be a major reason why people with close relationships tend to be in better health and live longer. Some say eating 40 percent less food could extend your life by 20 years. A research suggests that children of older men may live longer, another claims that runners live a longer life. Although fascinating to read, we find it difficult to implement many of these “long life tips” Anyway, what is the point of trying painstakingly hard to live a longer life if you don’t enjoy it? Keeping that in mind, here’s a light and fun infograph from confused.com on tips for a longer life. We might never know whether they will work for us or not, but some of the tips like “love your mum”, “listen to your dentist” and “choose the right spouse” make sense, regardless of their effect on longevity. Have a look and tell us what you think about it…
I personally feel that a richer life is better than a longer life. And rich doesn’t always mean money. Break the monotony- go trekking, de-stress yourself, experience awe and enjoy every moment of life. We don’t need any research to tell us that right?
